8Automatically Collected Information
Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by Zen Payments. 9Use of Cookies
The Zen Payments website uses "cookies" and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) to operate the site and understand how it is used. A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a web server. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you. The categories of cookies we use are:
- Necessary / attribution cookie (first-party). We set a first-party cookie (named "ZT") that is encrypted and cannot be read by third parties. It records the page you landed on, the referring source, and any marketing campaign or advertising parameters (such as UTM or click identifiers) present when you arrived, so that we can attribute your visit to the correct marketing channel internally. It expires after one year.
- Analytics cookies (third-party). We use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) and PostHog to understand aggregate website usage, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors navigate the site. These providers may set their own cookies or browser storage. Session recording/replay features are not enabled on our website.
- Other third-party widgets. We embed a Trustpilot widget to display customer reviews, which may set its own cookies. Our website analytics (Vercel) does not use cookies or persistent identifiers.
You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser settings to decline or delete cookies, and you may opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the Zen Payments website. See Section 6 above for how to opt out of the use of cookie or device identifiers for advertising purposes.
